Tires are Pirelli P-Zero summer tires in 255/40-19 for the front and 275/40-19 for the rear. The 6-piston Brembo front brakes are surrounded by 19 inch wheels with a Y-spoke design that are inspired by the chromed steel wheels found on the original Mustang.
The 5.0 liter V8 puts out more than 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The only two color choices are Wimbledon White (like the first Mustang sold, serial number 0001) or Kona Blue, and both colors are exclusive to the anniversary models.
Available with either a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission, the Limited Edition Mustang is based on the GT fastback with performance pack and includes nearly every available option (in fact, it’s the only way to get an automatic Mustang with the performance pack). In order to celebrate the car’s 50th (and 1/2) anniversary, Ford is releasing the 2015 Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition.
Ford first introduced the Mustang as a 1964 1/2 model, and it was an instant success.
